AMIS Music Educators' Online Summit November 1-30, 2021

While many of us think about 'Magnificat' or 'Berliner Messe' when we hear the name Arvo Pärt, we decided to present on a handful of childhood songs that Arvo Pärt wrote at the beginning of his career. These songs have been wonderful contributions to our younger classes and are fun to sing for our own enjoyment!

Our Grade 5 students are finding time whenever they can to sing and share together in song. Here is just a glimpse of their fearlessness!

As our school continues to encourage social distancing, it was decided that our Middle School Open House would be held virtually this year. Across all subject areas on PowerSchool Learning, parents and guardians logged in to see a preview of their child's new teachers, classrooms, and areas of study. Here is our contribution!

Due to social distancing, our Grade 8 students could not have their annual post-graduation dance. We decided to bring the dance to them! Over 50 families logged into Google Meet and danced together from their living rooms.

Please enjoy this virtual choir performance, released for the Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony. Students rehearsed and recorded their parts entirely at home in preparation for graduation.
